          A computer is a network of hardware and software that can be used to perform calculations and then display the result. Automobiles use computers to tell the driver where to turn, airplane flight computers keep airplanes aloft and pilots in control, electronic voting machines are making it easier to vote, cell phones have computer chips inside them. The list goes on and on. Computers have become indispensable - we couldn't imagine life without them!
